Sunysport sells in-stock, finished solid-wood furniture and supports delivery across the regions listed above. This policy explains how shipping works, what to expect at delivery, and how we handle shipping issues for furniture orders.
All charges are shown in USD. For eligible destinations, import taxes, duties, brokerage, and customs processing are included at checkout, so nothing is due on arrival (DDP where available).
Packaging and dispatch approach
Each piece is packed for transit using rigid panels, dense foam, reinforced corners, and clear handling labels. Orientation marks may be used on larger cartons to help carriers keep packages upright.
Most items ship in compact cartons for easier handling. Parcel carriers are used for most shipments; freight service is used only when required by size or weight.
At checkout, you will see the full total payable in USD, including shipping/freight and any applicable taxes/charges collected at checkout. No payment is expected at the door for charges included at checkout.
Helpful clarifications
Estimated delivery timing is shown at checkout and reflects handling time plus carrier transit.
U.S. sales tax appears at checkout where required and is included in the USD total.
International lanes: DDP applies where available—no customs charges are expected at delivery when included at checkout.
No COD: payment is completed at checkout; available methods appear on the checkout page.
Address checks: carriers may validate addresses. If an address is incomplete or restricted, we may request corrections before carrier handoff to reduce delays.

We cannot deliver to:
PO Boxes
APO/FPO/DPO addresses
Certain remote territories (for example Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, and select outlying islands in Europe or Australia)
A standard street address with safe carrier access is required. If your location has vehicle restrictions, narrow stairwells/elevators, gated entry, or limited access rules, contact Sunysport before ordering so we can review feasible delivery options and any third-party add-on services.
Carriers and service levels
Parcel networks (most shipments)
Common parcel networks include UPS, FedEx, USPS (limited small U.S. parcels), and DHL Express on international routes.
Parcel carriers may attempt delivery multiple times before holding a shipment at a local facility or access point. ID may be required for pickup.
Freight service (only when required)
Oversized or heavy items may ship via Freight/LTL with liftgate service and curbside delivery (ground level at curb/driveway). Curbside does not include indoor placement, stair carry, or packaging removal. Freight partners typically call or text to schedule a delivery window. Palletizing and stretch wrap may be used for protection.
Signature control (when applicable)
For select high-value shipments, an adult signature may be required. Your tracking email will indicate when this applies.
Authority to Leave (where offered)
Where “Authority to Leave” is available, delivery is considered completed when the carrier records a successful delivery scan at your address. Risk and responsibility follow our Terms of Service and any mandatory local law (and this option is typically not used when signature is required).
Handling time and transit time
Handling time: the period after your order is confirmed and before carrier pickup, used for final checks, protective packing, labeling, and scheduling (if freight applies).
Transit time: begins after the carrier receives the shipment.
Business days are Monday through Friday (local dispatch time). U.S. federal holidays are excluded. International routes may require extra time for security screening and border processing. Severe weather, local holidays, labor actions, or network congestion can extend timelines. Address changes after dispatch may require rerouting and can delay delivery.
Orders confirmed before a daily cutoff may move into packing/labeling the same business day; later confirmations may start the next business day.
Rates and typical timeframes (USD, furniture only)
All amounts appear at checkout. Flat rates and free-shipping thresholds are fully inclusive. Recipients pay nothing at the door for charges included at checkout.

Furniture shipping notes
Solid wood can be dense, and carriers may apply dimensional weight based on size and weight. Larger case goods may require freight service with liftgate delivery and cargo protection.
Multi-item orders may ship in separate cartons to reduce risk. When helpful, cartons may be secured together for protection. Any shipping total is shown clearly at checkout.
Taxes, duties, and customs (international)
For deliveries to UK, FR, DE, ES, IT, BE, PT, AU, and CA, Sunysport ships DDP where available, meaning import VAT/GST, duties, brokerage, and customs processing are included in the checkout total in USD.
Do not pay the driver for charges included at checkout. If anyone requests payment at delivery for costs that should be included, contact Sunysport immediately.
U.S. orders: applicable state and local sales tax appears at checkout and is included in the USD total.
International shipments typically include standard export documentation (for example a commercial invoice and packing list) to support clearance.
Dispatch confirmation, tracking, and updates
When a shipment leaves our dispatch point, Sunysport emails a confirmation with a tracking link. Please allow time for scans to appear.
Parcel shipments: the first scan often appears within 24–48 hours after the carrier receives the package (sometimes longer for late pickups, weekends, or peak periods).
Freight/LTL shipments (when required): tracking may update later and sometimes does not show movement until a terminal processes the shipment.
If no movement appears after a reasonable period, contact Sunysport so we can check with the carrier.
Access, placement, and setup
Delivery service depends on the carrier method used. Parcel deliveries follow carrier rules. Freight deliveries (when required) are curbside by default.
Some items may be packed in multiple sections for safer transport and easier handling. Where relevant, cartons include a step-by-step guide and basic tools.
If your location has tight turns, limited elevators, gated entry, stair-only access, or truck restrictions, tell us before shipment so options can be reviewed. Room-of-choice placement, stair carries, packaging haul-away, and exact-time appointments may be available through third parties and quoted at cost.
Possible carrier-cost fees can include missed freight appointments, address corrections after dispatch, and re-delivery attempts. If refusal is due to visible carrier-caused damage noted with the driver, Sunysport handles the claim and no re-delivery fees apply to you.
Damage, loss, or other issues
Inspect packages at delivery when possible. If something arrives damaged:
notify Sunysport promptly,
include your order number, and
attach clear photos/video of the outer carton, inner packing, and affected areas.
Note visible damage with the driver when possible and keep all packing until next steps are confirmed.
If tracking shows no progress for an extended period, or delivery has not occurred within the stated timeframe from the ship date, contact Sunysport. Once the carrier confirms loss, Sunysport will ship a replacement at no charge or issue a full refund in USD.
Shipments refused or undeliverable due to repeated missed appointments or incorrect addresses may return to sender. Sunysport can ship again after address verification and payment of any carrier return, storage, or re-delivery fees at cost.
Changes and cancellations
Orders may be cancelable only before packing/labeling begins and before carrier handoff. After carrier handoff, cancellation is not available. After delivery, please refer to Sunysport’s Refund & Returns Policy.
For international orders, address changes after dispatch may incur carrier reroute fees and delays.
